Things have been ridiculous at Unseen Headquarters. The summer weather is finally starting to rear its head and we have been getting more pictures then ever. Since this site went live last fall we have growing like crazy. You can see some more of our migration if you visit Unseen Denver and Unseen NYC, plus we have more US cities to infect as soon as I have time to put them together.

Between that, my day job, homework, girlfriend and my friend’s projects, processing and scheduling updated for Unseen sites needed some streamlining. I created a way for you to upload your own pictures to Unseen Austin, which should speed everything up and make things easier for both of us.

How To create an Unseen Austin Profile

1. First you need to create a login.
   Click “Register to login” on the top of the right sidebar on any page. This will take you through the registration and email verification process…pretty self explanatory.IMPORTANT: Choose your Username wisely. It can not be changed.
2. Once you have been verified and have logged in, you will want to update your account info.
   You can choose a couple of different ways to display your name. Whatever you choose in the “Display name publicly as” field will be added to the bottom of every picture of yours that is published. I like to organize things by tour Twitter handle, but whatever you want to use is cool. You can change that information at any time.

How to Upload Pictures to Unseen Austin

After you are all logged in click Post a Picture in the menu on the right hand side. This is where the magic happens…

Follow the instructions on this page and you should be good to go. Hopefully it’s simple enough to figure out, but if it’s not…well…I don’t know what to tell you. The one important thing to remember is to upload your image file BEFORE you send the post. If you don’t do it in this order then your post will come through with no file attached.

Once your pic has been uploaded they will go into the moderation queue to await approval. Once they have been approved they will be scheduled. Scheduling is somewhat random so if one person uploads 20 pictures one day, or something, they will be randomly dispersed instead of 20 updates in a row from just one person.
